Spotify Codes

It’s important to share your music everywhere, whether it’s social media artwork, or in this case, posters and flyers. Spotify Codes is a website that allows you to create scannable codes that anyone can scan using the Spotify app on their phone. When they point their phone at these codes, it will launch directly into that piece of content within Spotify, similar to a QR code. The content can be a song, artist profile, audiobook, podcast, playlist or almost anything in Spotify that has a URI. Let’s take a look at how this works and how to create a code.

I’ve gone ahead and recorded a video to show you the step by step process so you can create your own scannable codes for your content on Spotify.

These codes can be included on posters, flyers, cards, you can even include them in images on social media. It’s a fun way to get people to interact with your music using the Spotify app by pointing it directly at the code.

This is an engaging and fun way to reach your fans and help them find or come back to your music. This makes it very easy for them to point their phone at the code and launch directly into the piece of content within Spotify.
