Bandsintown for Artists

Bandsintown have expanded their online tools, the service previously known as Bandsintown Manager has been relaunched as Bandsintown for Artists. Bandsintown allows artists to upload tour dates and promote shows to their 50 Million registered users as well as promoting across Billboard, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon Alexa, and more.

Here’s a quick summary of the new features!

  • Bandsintown for Artists is available to all artists registered on Bandsintown.com

  • Artists on Bandsintown now have the ability to schedule posts to trackers in advance

  • Real-time analytics on artist posts 

  • A daily flow of helpful tips, best practices, and can’t miss music industry news from the Bandsintown published artist resource Hypebot and an expanded Bandsintown For Artists blog

  • A curated Artists Services section offering discounts and special offers from industry leaders including Bandzoogle, Tunecore, DiscMakers, Feature.fm and more

Additionally, Bandsintown for Artists have updated their messaging platform. When a user follows an artist on Bandsintown they become a “tracker”, which means they want to be updated when that artist is performing in their city. This messaging platform allows artists to message Bandsintown trackers directly through email and push notifications. In addition these messages can be scheduled and geo-targeted to trackers in a specific location. Artists can also send personalized messages to fans on Bandsintown, and sync them across Facebook and Twitter simultaneously.

This messaging service can be used to promote almost anything, not just tour dates. You could share new music releases, merchandise, music videos, secret shows and more.
