Even before Covid-19 existed, many artists were opting to collaborate on music digitally. Remote collaborations open up opportunities with people outside of local networks, minus the expensive travel costs.

While there are many benefits to working together remotely, it can be a struggle to keep all parties organized and up-to-date across the project. Sundae is an early-stage app that was brought to my attention on Twitter. It’s meant to be a project management workspace for musicians.

Since it’s brand new, it’s currently free to use. Some cool features are the ability for everyone to comment on the waveform of an audio file - leaving timed notes under the song or shared notes organized in folders.
